Fun fact about me: I do not buy drugstore makeup. Not because I am a brand name snob, but because drugstore products typically do not work for me. I would rather pay more for a product that is a definite match for me than a product that is not a fit. A common issue I have with drugstore foundation is finding one that is suitable for my complexion. A lot of the time, companies either do not make a color dark enough or only have a reddish option.  I put that disclaimer there to show that me sharing this foundation means that I am completely in love with this product.

Let's do a backstory on why I bought this foundation in the first place.  I purchased the Loreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Foundation while in Atlanta (Check out my post all about ATL here). I was faced with a horrible situation: My Mac Studio Fix Fluid was not setting correctly. I still to this day do not know why. Anyways, I found myself searching for a new foundation. While scanning the aisles, I found the  Loreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Foundation. After standing and examining the product, I took a chance and purchased the product.

Quick Tip: Google the foundation shade you think would match you. Google Images will help you decipher whether or not you should get the shade because people similar to your color will pop up.

I tried it the next day and fell in love with it. Not only did the color fit me, but the finish was gorgeous. I currently use my Mac Studio Fix Fluid in NC 50 and  Loreal Paris Infallible Pro Matte Foundation in Soft Sable interchangeably. They both last ALL day! I also have dry skin, so finding a matte foundation that does not highlight the dryness in my skin is a bonus.

This foundation is DEFINITELY a must have! It sells for $11.99 at Target.
